Police officer and cordon outside Shanklin train station
A police cordon is in place outside Shanklin train station this morning (Tuesday).

No problems are being reported on Island Line trains and the Landguard Road entrance to the station remains open, however.
A police officer is on scene at Atherley Road.
Meanwhile, we are awaiting a statement from Hampshire Constabulary.
