The search is on for the driver of a Mini who crashed into two front gardens in Sandown then fled the scene in the middle of the night.
A Mini was abandoned in a front garden in Perowne Way in the early hours of yesterday (Saturday).
Police confirmed today (Sunday) that no arrests have been made and enquiries are underway to find those responsible.
A spokesperson said: "We were called at just before 1.45am on Saturday to reports that a vehicle had left the road and entered the front gardens of two properties on Perowne Way in Sandown.
"Police attended and found the vehicle unattended. No injuries have been reported.
"We are conducting enquiries to establish what happened and to identify those involved. No arrests have been made at this time."
