A serious crash has closed part of Military Road on the Isle of Wight.
Island Roads has shut the road between Brighstone and Chale.
The closure is in place from New Road to Church Place.
Hampshire and the Isle of Wight Air Ambulance has been called.
Firefighters from Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service are also in attendance.
One appliance, from Shanklin Fire Station, was called at 3.37pm.

Kingston , Chale Green and rejoin the route at Chale .
At this time the top half of the the Military Rd is not servable
