Search and rescue, lifeboat and coastguard teams have been assisting police with a search in East Wight this evening (Saturday, July 8).
HM Coastguard confirmed to the County Press it was assisting police with a search in the Culver Down area.
Bembridge Lifeboat was launched, alongside Island coastguard rescue teams.
The lifeboat has since returned to base.
Isle of Wight Search and Rescue (WightSAR) also confirmed it had sent a team to help the search for 'high risk missing person'.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary have been contacted for a statement.
