A popular Isle of Wight pub is closing for over two weeks for a major refurb.
The Blacksmiths, previously known as the Blacksmiths Arms, is to shut at the end of the month.
Posting on its Facebook page, the pub promised "big things are coming".
The Blacksmiths, based on Calbourne Road, on the outskirts of Newport, changed hands nearly six years ago.

It was acquired by the Burrows family in April 2017, with Rachel and Rob at the helm.
In 2021 it went on to win Best Pub at the Isle of Wight Awards.
The Blacksmiths is due to shut next Monday (January 30).
It's expected to reopen on February 14.
