THE Isle of Wight's hospital remains in a 'critical incident', with yet more appointments cancelled at St Mary's.
Earlier this week, the IOW NHS Trust announced that all routine outpatient appointments had been cancelled until today (Friday).
The Trust has confirmed this will continue into next week, with appointments now cancelled until next Friday (December 30).
Cancer treatments and urgent operations will still go ahead, including breast screening.
A spokesperson from the IOW NHS Trust said: "Affected patients will either receive a phone call or a text which may come from a withheld number.
"Text reminders should be ignored if received for previously cancelled appointments."
