AN URGENT appeal has been launched today (Wednesday, December 21) following a low supply of walking support equipment at the Isle of Wight's hospital.
The IOW NHS Trust is asking Islanders who have been given a set of crutches or a frame to return them if they are no longer needed.
This comes after the Trust said it has a 'very low' supply of walking aids for patients.

An IOW NHS Trust spokesperson said: "Please help by returning any that you no longer need to the main reception at St. Mary’s Hospital."
