Bembridge's annual Fireworks Night celebrations take place tonight (Friday), in Steyne Park.
The Bonfire Night event runs between 6.30pm and 8.30pm.
Expect stalls in the hall, food stalls outside, a DJ and and a bar, with fireworks at 7.30pm.
Entry is free, with donations to Bembridge Youth and Community Centre.
Do not bring your own sparklers or fireworks, say organisers.
The car park will be closed and there will be 'no waiting' cones along Steyne Road.
On Facebook, they added: "The rain has finally stopped and it's looking like a clear night.
"Steyne Park is wet and muddy and due to be chilly, so wrap up warm and put on your wellies.
"We look forward to seeing you."
Meanwhile, tomorrow's event in Yarmouth has been called off, due to the weather forecast for heavy rain.
