WITH heavy rain forecast at the weekend, the Isle of Wight Council is encouraging residents to prepare for possible isolated flooding on the Island.

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for tonight (Friday) and tomorrow.

Forecasters anticipate tonight's bad weather will reach west Cornwall and west Wales late this evening, before moving eastwards, towards the Island, overnight.

The weather warning is live from 9pm for 12 hours.
