NO NEW Isle of Wight Covid cases have been recorded today, although the rolling rate has risen according to the latest Public Health England figures.

This follows on from yesterday's two, Wednesday's four and Tuesday's eight, and means the Isle of Wight's total since the start of the pandemic remains at 6,757.

The last time no new cases were recorded was on Monday.

The Island's rolling rate, though five days behind, now stands at 15.5 per 100,000 people.

Yesterday, it was 14.1 and despite the rise it remains well below the UK rate, which is 32.7.
