WITH a section of the Broadway in Sandown now one-way, the town's High Street is bearing the brunt.
Residents have reported significant traffic congestion as a result of the works, which are not due to be completed for seven weeks.
Motorists heading to Newport may wish to divert via Brading Down Road.
The Broadway, between Melville Street and Beachfield Road, has been made one-way.

Motorists travelling up the road toward The Heights must divert via Melville Street, turning right onto Royal Street, then onto Beachfield Road.
Motorists travelling in the opposite direction can continue on as usual.
