A SECTION of a major road through Sandown is now one-way — and will remain so for some seven weeks.
Scheduled for 8am this morning, there appeared to be a delay before road signs were erected.
Now, the Broadway, between Melville Street and Beachfield Road, has been made one-way.
Motorists travelling up the road toward The Heights must divert via Melville Street, turning right onto Royal Street, then onto Beachfield Road.
Motorists travelling in the opposite direction can continue on as usual.
The Broadway is to be affected until 6.30pm on Friday, May 28, unless works are completed earlier.
