Three young Isle of Wight footballers have taken the next step in their sporting journeys.
Evalyn, Nina and Gracie-Mae, who play for Wight Eagles Girls FC, have been invited to join Portsmouth’s Junior Premier League (JPL) programme.
Their selection follows strong performances and commitment with the Wight Eagles Under-12 team.
Tom, Under-12 manager at Wight Eagles, said: "Three of our Under-12 players have been invited to join Portsmouth.

"Evalyn, Nina and Gracie-Mae have been a huge part of our successful team over the last few years and they are going to be hard to replace.
"We wish them all the best in their future endeavours.
"Their progression is a testament to the hard work and dedication they have shown, as well as the support of their families and coaches.
"Wight Eagles Girls FC is definitely the place to be on the Isle of Wight for girls who want to go far in football."
The club is now recruiting for its Under-13 squad.
Wight Eagles says it offers a "positive, ambitious and supportive environment" for girls who want to progress in the game.
