An Isle of Wight rowing club has celebrated the people and organisations behind its success on and off the water.
Ryde Rowing Club held its annual supporters and sponsors evening at its Appley Park clubhouse on Saturday, February 8, to thank those who backed the club throughout 2025.
Organised by club members Ruby and Mai Read, with support from their mother Suzy, the event celebrated achievements from the past season.

The club's women’s junior crew won the Hants and Dorset Amateur Rowing Association Championship, and finished as runners-up in the South Coast Championship.
The evening included refreshments and a season review, with contributions from club members about what the club means to them.
The guest of honour was Sam Woodman, partnership marketing manager at Wightlink, joined by Martin Gulliver, port operations manager.
