The Wightlink Warriors Speedway team are eyeing up silverware in their 2024 campaign final game this Thursday against Cradley Heathens at Smallbrook Stadium.
This will be the second leg of the cup final, with the home team carrying a 16-point lead from their first encounter back in July.
Although favoured, the Heathens' line-up is looking stronger, anticipated to provide a thrilling finish.
Tom Spencer will spearhead the visiting squad.
Known for his superb performance at the West Midland club, he's set to blaze through Britain's largest and fastest circuit.
James Laker from Kent bolsters the visiting team in the number two position, following his recent outing on the Island for the Young Heathens versus Wizards.
He's not the only one to keep an eye on, as Australian Matt Marson, positioned at three, isn't scared of confronting the broad openness the Smallbrook Arena allows.
The audience should watch out for William Cairns at number four.
"Speedway's most wanted," Cairns, just 15, has been consistently racking up points and narrowly missed the British Final at the Island recently.
Additionally, number five's Luke Harris has been gathering momentum following a slow start to the season.
The final team member to complete the Heathens' strong lineup is Nathan Hargrave.
The Warriors will counter this force with their standard one to five, led by captain Arran Butcher, with Sonny Springer, Chad Wirtzfeld, German Henning Loof, and Jacob Clouting rounding up the team.
Young Harley Freeman, a product of the My First Skid Academy on the Island, moves up to number 6 in place of Morgan Williams, who's recently been struggling post-injury.
The Warriors' team manager, Steve Piper, said: "Harley is biting at the bit to have a go, we are going to have to try to control him, but we know he will give it 100 per cent.
"Cradley has a really strong side, but, The Warriors are up for it, we have a lead to hang on to, but we don’t want to hang on to it, we want to win on the night as well."
Ahead of the exciting clash, promoter Barry Bishop urged fans to bring their autograph books.
Bishop added: "This is going to be a classic, fans are urged to bring someone to cling onto."
The night will kick-start with a youth development match between the Wizards and young Heathens from 6.15pm.
