LEADING Isle of Wight football club Cowes Sports are back in action tonight (Tuesday) in the second round of the Velocity Wessex League Cup.

The Yachtsmen will be hoping to bounce back from their 4-1 league defeat at high-flying Shaftesbury United when they entertain Premier League leaders Moneyfields at Westwood Park.

Cowes Sports will be at full strength, with only former Newport favourite Liam Triggs sidelined from the squad.

Yachtsmen keeper Ed Hatt said of tonight's tie: "A very tough game. 'Moneys' look like a very strong outfit this season.

"Lucky enough for us, I believe we’re at full strength. I fancy us, but then again I fancy us against anyone under the lights at Westwood on a Tuesday night!"

Kick off is at 7.45pm.
