This week, OGR race patron, Sir Chay Blyth, who skippered Great Britain II in the first Whitbread gave some advice to the 14 skippers on crossing the line in first position.

The Ocean Globe Race is being held in the spirit of the 1973 Whitbread Round the World Race.

It marks the 50th Anniversary of the original event.

It is a 27,000-mile sprint around the globe in four legs.
