Isle of Wight golfer Brandon Robinson Thompson is teeing off in the final day of The 151st Open Championship this morning (Sunday).

Going into round four, Brandon is currently tied 63rd — 16 strokes off the lead.

Yesterday (Saturday) he was partnered with world no.13 Tyrrell Hatton, having made the cut after round two.

A total of 80 players did not make the cut, including Phil Mickelson, Dustin Johnson and Justin Thomas.

Holes four, five and 11 proved tricky for the Islander, who scored bogeys, but he picked up form by the end of the round, recording a birdie on the 12th.

This morning he is the first group to go out, teeing off at 8.35am with Gary Woodland.
