FORMER Ventnor cricketer Travis Head made the record books after helping Australia to a 57-run victory over Pakistan today (Thursday).
Head, who topped the Southern Premier League batting charts with 733 runs for Ventnor in 2013, cracked Australia's highest partnership in one-day history with David Warner.
The pair's 284 runs — 128 from Head — fell just two short of equaling a world record.
The 23-year old left-hander hit three sixes and nine fours during his innings.
