THE Isle of Wight's beach soccer side have been crowned kings of Europe.
The team won the International Club Cup after beating German champions Rostocker 5-0 in the final in Rotterdam, Holland, yesterday (Sunday).
The Island lost 3-2 to Rostocker in the group stages but still progressed to the semi finals after beating another German side, Leipzig, and Dutch champions Scorpions.
They progressed to the final with a 4-3 win against Swiss side Concordia in the last four, before a hat-trick by Josh Younie, plus strikes from Liam Slaven and Jez Conway gave them a memorable victory in the final.
