AN UNEMPLOYED man accused of stealing a necklace from a Gravesend jewellers will appear in court today.
Lee Raven, 18, of Ingress Gardens, Greenhithe, was arrested last week for the theft of the £900 gold necklace from Richard Luke's jewellery store in St George's Shopping Centre on May 21.
He is also charged with two separate thefts of champagne from Gravesend's Asda store on May 22 and 23 and one count of handling stolen goods.
Raven was picked up by police in Gravesend town centre last Thursday morning.
