Re: (Day Centre Could be Saved', Times Group, May 24).

It would appear that local councillors, council officers, and the prospective Labour MP Andrew Dismore are trying to suggest that the Broadfields Centre was never going to close.

Why do they not make public the report intended for submission to this meeting, prior to the anti-closure activities of the parents and carers of Broadfields clients and allow me to fund an independent survey and report on the type of structure and its current condition?

I am confident that both reports will bring into question the versions that appear to have been voiced to date by the above mentioned.

Which then begs the question, what do they hope to gain?

Certainly not the trust, support or the confidence of the parents and carers of the Broadfields clients.
