Congratulations to Barnet boy band Blue who have just won the award for best newcomers at the Brit Awards.
The r'n'b heartthrobs shouted with excitement as they went up to collect their award from Radio 1 DJ Trevor Nelson at the awards ceremony in Earl's Court on Wednesday.
Members Antony Costa, 20, a former pupil of Hendon School in Hendon, grew up in Edgwarebury Lane, Edgware, and Duncan James, 22, lives in Finchley.
They were also voted Best Newcomers at last year's Smash Hit Poll Winners Party.
"We're absolutely delighted, particularly as it was voted for by the public. We've had a fantastic year so far and this has capped it," said the band.
Antony told the Times Group in January: "I'm doing a band with my friends that I've always wanted to do since I was little.
"I'm living a dream basically, and I just can't thank people enough for letting me live this dream."
Just two years ago, Antony was singing Robbie Williams covers at the Mill Hill Music Festival and in 1997 starred as Danny in a Flash Musicals production of Greece.
His hero is Finchley-born boyband veteran George Michael. Keep up the good work boys.
