One TikTok user has shared how he avoids wasting the water that’s left in his kettle after using the amount he needs.

It’s a simple hack and the user claims it “could save you hundreds of pounds a year”.

The video, posted by @myart1979, suggests investing in a flask and filling it with the remaining water that you just boiled.

With the lid on, it will mean your water will stay hot and be waiting for you the next time you’re in need of some boiling water.

Reducing the amount you use your kettle to boil water could save you money and energy but also time.
