THE Travelling Film Show is bringing two critically acclaimed musicals to the Isle of Wight this week.

Today (August 16), Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again (PG) is being shown at Ventnor Botanic Gardens from 7pm.

Visitors can join The Travelling Film Show for the sequel to the 2008 musical starring Meryl Streep and Pierce Brosnan.

Five years after the events of the first film, Amanda Seyfried reprises her role as Sophie, who prepares for the grand reopening of the Hotel Bella Donna, and learns more about her mother's past.

Tomorrow (August 17), biographical musical, The Greatest Showman (PG), is being shown at Bembridge Windmill from 7.30pm.

Visitors can sit down and admire the picturesque views of Bembridge Harbour and surrounding scenery, before settling down for a screening of the Academy Award nominated film starring Hugh Jackman and Zac Efron.

On Tuesday (August 20), The Lehman Trilogy is being shown at Ventnor Arts Club from 7pm, live from the National Theatre.

Written by Stefano Massini, and directed by Academy-award winner, Sam Mendes, the critically acclaimed play follows the story of a family and a company that changed the world, told in three parts on a single evening.

On Thursday (August 22), Ventnor Arts Club is screening The White Crow (15) from 7.30pm.

Directed by Ralph Fiennes, the film follows the story of Rudolf Nureyev, whose escape to the West stunned the world at the height of the Cold War.

Emerging as ballet's most famous star, a wild and beautiful dancer limited by the world of 1950s Leningrad, Nureyev's flirtation with Western artists and ideas leads him into a high-stakes game of cat and mouse with the KGB.
