A haunting new adventure is taking young readers into the shadows of a hidden underground world.
Vampyr, Ghost, Assassin is the latest release from Island novelist and poet Kathryn Rossati.
Aimed at readers aged ten and up, the story follows Wyn Gatteaux, whose life unravels after he discovers a human girl's body in his garden.
The plot thickens as Wyn’s parents are arrested by Detective Cerry Vanell, heir to a feared line of vampyr hunters.

Vanell leaves him trapped under guard, desperate and alone.
He attempts to send a message to his aunt in Worldunder, the hidden city beneath the streets where non-humans seek refuge.
His plea for help goes unanswered. Worse still, the ghost of the dead girl, Sera, appears at his side, unable to stray far from him without being dragged back by an unseen force.
