Two Isle of Wight women suspected of arson with intent to endanger life following a fire in East Cowes have been bailed.
The fire involved an item of clothing, Hampshire and IW Fire and Rescue Service confirmed.
It was put out using buckets of water and the property was ventilated.
Shortly before 9pm, Hampshire and IW Constabulary was alerted, and two women were subsequently arrested.
A 44-year-old from East Cowes and 46-year-old from Sandown were both detained on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life.
In an update issued today (Tuesday), police have confirmed both women have been bailed until October 4.
