Ventnor Fringe 2026 is a ten-day, exclusive festival that promotes comedy, theatre and music, offering exciting opportunities to step away from reality.
With more than 100 shows across a myriad of venues, here are just a few we've picked out...
If you fancy some eerie, vivid entertainment, pragmatic dramedy DELUGE is on at 5pm from July 21 to 23.
It is a one woman show that takes you through a journey of over 40 stories of loss, to comedy- based theatre, music and dancing like a chronological adventure.
Feeling the desperate and antagonising need to let go is an agonising feeling of grief that DELUGE lets you experience through a captivating and humorous way.
It has been described as “overflowing with emotion, beautifully choreographed, incredibly well written and executed”.
Taking place on July 21 from 3.30pm to 4.30pm at the Bijou, is FUNNY THAT, from Graham Brown, Donna Jones and Sylvia Clare.
Described as three voices and three friends from three places, the trio will share thrilling life stories that both entertain and challenge.
FUNNY THAT is a lively mixture of wry storytelling, wacky poetry and wonderfully weird confessions delivering a promising but unpredictable hour blending insight, laughter and the unexpected.
Debuting at Ventnor Fringe from July 24 to July 26, is Giles Cooper, performing The Night Baker.
The show promises to take audiences to the heart of a bakery’s overnight shift exploring the physical and mental demands of a solitary baker.
Giles is an actor who moved to Ryde last year and works as a Head Baker at The Lost Mill Bakery in Cowes.
Do you love a good murder? Or perhaps true to life crime? Chris Sainton- Clark who wrote and performs The Night Ali Died, arrives for a three night run to present a gritty and twisting drama.
The Night Ali Died is on between July 17 to 19 at 9pm and explores themes of betrayal, murder, theft and vengeance of a lab technician who unexpectedly dies!
Chris’s aim was “to create something that bridges the gap between my two passions, theatre and cinema”.
Meanwhile, Rabbits Out of the Hat embarks on its 2026 tour, performing some magic and mischief between July 22 and 25.
It promised to be a “genre-defying theatrical experience” full of breathtaking illusions presenting original songs, comedy and circus skills.
Created and performed by Magic Circle magicians, Christopher Howell and Desiree Kongerod (Norvil and Josephine) will demonstrate a heartfelt show set in 1905, following an impressive magician and his obedient assistant sister who begin to challenge and rebel against the rules they’ve always followed.
Ventnor Fringe takes place between July 17 and 26.
