AN ISLE of Wight woman who assaulted two police officers in East Cowes has been sentenced.
The case of Susan Westwell, of Yarborough Road, East Cowes, went before Isle of Wight magistrates on Tuesday, June 23.
The 42-year-old admitted two counts of assaulting a police constable in the execution of their duty, in East Cowes, on December 3 last year.
The court heard no injuries were caused and Westwell immediately apologised to the two officers.
Westwell was handed a six-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £26 surcharge.
