Wildlife tales are set to come to life on an Isle of Wight stage next February.
Acclaimed wildlife filmmaker and TV star Gordon Buchanan will bring his national tour, Lions and Tigers and Bears, to Shanklin on February 20, 2027, sharing an evening of adventure through stories of his extraordinary encounters with some of the world’s most iconic animals.
His tour will visit almost 40 venues across England, Scotland and Wales.
Mr Buchanan said: "I am very excited to say that I am touring again in 2027 and cannot wait to come to Isle of Wight.

"The response to the shows during the past two years has been absolutely brilliant so it’s going to be great to get back on the road with Lions and Tigers and Bears and meet more animal lovers across the country."
Described as Scotland’s own David Attenborough, Mr Buchanan’s career began in 1989 as an assistant to cameraman Nick Gordon in Sierra Leone.
He has since contributed to series including Big Cat Diary and Lost Land of the...
His Family & Me documentaries started in 2010 with Minnesota black bears and have since featured animals from around the world.
More recently, he has tracked big cats in Botswana for the BBC series Big Cats 24/7.
