Three secondary schools on the Isle of Wight are set to close again tomorrow (Friday, June 26) amid the ongoing heatwave.
Medina College in Newport and Carisbrooke College will be partially closed due to the extreme weather, while Christ the King College continues to close due to the heatwave.
The schools have been closed today as the Island faces a red heat health alert from the UK Health and Security Agency (UKHSA) until tomorrow night.
Children will still be able to attend Medina College if their families need them to - students will access online work in a supervised classroom.
Carisbrooke College has said on-site provision is strictly for children of key workers, or those with 'unavoidable work commitments' or other urgent reasons and asked for parents and carers to contact the school office if their child needs to come in.

Christ the King College cited a lack of cooling and persistent high temperatures in the school buildings as a reason for their continued closure.
The school's Year 11 prom will go ahead.
Mock exams at all three secondary schools will be rescheduled and online learning provisions will be sent out.
The UKHSA has extended its red heat health alert to 11pm on Friday, June 26.
