An Isle of Wight manufacturing firm has joined the Made in Britain scheme.
Datum Electronics, based in East Cowes and operating across the Isle of Wight and Southampton, designs and manufactures precision torque, strain, and shaft power measurement solutions.
The Made in Britain mark identifies and promotes goods manufactured in the UK and will help further the company’s presence in international markets.
Michael Irons, managing director at Datum Electronics, said: "Made in Britain reflects the way we’ve been working for a number of years.

"Our products are designed and manufactured in the UK for demanding applications, with a strong emphasis on quality, full traceability, and control over our manufacturing processes.
"It also reflects our commitment to working with trusted UK suppliers wherever possible, strengthening local supply chains and supporting UK engineering capability.”
The membership places Datum Electronics within a recognised network of UK manufacturers, offering customers additional assurance around product origin and manufacturing consistency.
