Fletchr Fletchr interview at the Isle of Wight Festival 2026

The band headlined the River Stage on Friday (June 19), but it wasn't their first time playing the festival - they won a competition to open the very same stage in 2024.

Rohan said: "We won a competition and we got to play and open the stage.

"It was the first festival and big stage that we ever played. We came back today it feels like really full circle."

Fletchr Fletchr have recently been supporting Keanu Reeves's Dogstar and headed to Prague shortly after their show at Seaclose Park.

The band said they liked the Isle of Wight, and noted its similarities to Cornwall, where they are based.

Adam said: "We all love it. Whenever we've been in London recording our album, whenever we get back, we're like, oh, it's perfect down here.

"There's a lot of similarities. And I think being by the sea as well makes it feel a bit more like home."

The band are going to release a follow-up EP to their first release, We All Feel the Same, which is a 'more mature body of work' and 'more collaborative from the band'.

Rohan said the band would 'love to play the Isle of Wight every year' and set his sights on playing the Big Top next year, and then the Main Stage the year after.

Fletchr Fletchr played a headline set which was interrupted by technical difficulties and led to an impromptu acoustic set in the crowd - a memorable spontaneous moment for festivalgoers.
