Beloved Scottish singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi closed the Main Stage at the Isle of Wight Festival 2026 last night (Friday, June 19) with a ballad filled headline set punctuated by humour.
The Someone You Loved singer returned to the festival following his headline set in 2022, which was the first ever festival he headlined.
He opened the set with Hollywood and Grace, two songs from his debut album, before diving into tracks from his second album.
Between songs, he addressed the crowd with his trademark humour, including thanking the Isle of Wight Festival 'for the money' before saying that it wasn't that much' in case 'the tax man is watching.'

The show was his first UK festival set since he returned to playing live at Glastonbury last year, after a break to look after his health.
He acknowledged the size of the occasion and thanked the crowd sincerely.
Despite Scotland going a goal down in their World Cup tie with Morocco, Lewis kept the set's energy up and played songs from his most recent EP alongside established tracks from his initial rise.
His encore featured newer track Survive, before a different arrangement of Someone You Loved closed the set.
