A teenager arrested following an incident at an Isle of Wight skatepark, which left an eight-year-old girl with serious facial injuries, has had his bail extended.
The County Press understands police responded to an incident at the skatepark.
A girl, aged eight, sustained a serious facial injury and was taken to hospital for treatment.
A 17-year-old boy from Ryde was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and was initially bailed until June 6.
In an update, police have since confirmed the teenager has been rebailed with conditions, until September 6.
The force said enquiries are continuing.
In March, police urged people not to speculate on social media.
At the time, a spokesperson said: "We would ask anyone who has information that may be relevant, including anyone who believes they witnessed this incident, to contact us by calling 101 and quoting 44260108322."
