With just a few weeks to go until Isle of Wight Festival 2026, music lovers will no doubt be in planning mode.
One of the things on their mind will be how to get to and from the festival site in Newport, (especially if they're lugging camping gear).
If they're planning on travelling by bus, Southern Vectis is running a number of shuttle services.
From the ferry ports
From Yarmouth
There are regular shuttle buses on Thursday/Friday/Monday or festival goers can use route 7 into Newport bus station and catch the shuttle bus from there direct into the festival.
From Cowes
For those arriving to the Island via the Red Jet, regular shuttle buses meet most arrivals and departures, from Carvel Lane (a two minute walk from ferry).
From East Cowes
For vehicle ferry Red Funnel users, shuttle buses meet most arrivals and departures, from Castle Street.
From Ryde Esplanade
If arriving via Wightlink's FastCat or Hovertravel, shuttle buses operate up to every 10 minutes, from Ryde Transport Interchange.
All you have to do is follow the arrows (and crowds!)
Prices of shuttle buses
For adults catching a shuttle service one-way to or from the festival site from any port, the price has increased from £10 last year, to £10.50.
A return is 50p more than last year and is now £17, or a weekender ticket has gone up by £3 and is now £53.

From Newport
A shuttle bus service will operate between Church Litten (near Morrisons) in Newport direct into the festival bus station.
Buses are due to operate at regular intervals from early until late Thursday to Sunday.
For adults, a single (one-way journey) costs £4.20 and return for £7.20.
Other bus services
From 12pm on Wednesday, June 17 until approximately 4pm on Monday, June, 22, the normal route 9 between Ryde and Newport will operate but solely via Staplers, and not via Fairlee or the festival site.
Festival goers will be able to use the special 9F service that will operate throughout the time that the normal route 9 is not operating via Fairlee.
The 9F service, which costs £5 for an adult single and £9 return, will operate from John Street, Ryde but ends at 7pm.
All route 5 buses towards East Cowes will divert from Coppins Bridge via Staplers Road, Whiterails to Wootton High Street, Lushington Hill to reach East Cowes.
Buses towards Newport will use Fairlee Road, however may be delayed.
Once again, there will be buses from Sandown and Shanklin direct to the festival site, between Friday to Sunday.
Buses from Sandown and Lake will operate every hour between 11.40am and 4.40pm.
Buses from Shanklin, Godshill and Rookley will operate every 30 minutes between 11.40am and 4.10pm.
Single journeys cost £10.50 and returns cost £17.
ALL festival buses are cashless.
Tickets can be purchased from the bus driver on any shuttle bus or Southern Vectis service.
They can also be purchased on the Southern Vectis app.
