AN ISLE of Wight drink driver who crashed his van into a property in East Cowes has been banned from the road.
The case of Frank Jones, of The Meadow, East Cowes, went before Isle of Wight magistrates on Friday, May 22.
The 39-year-old admitted drink driving, in East Cowes, on April 22.
The court heard he registered a breath-alcohol reading of 101 when the legal limit is 35.

As previously reported, police were alerted to reports of a vehicle colliding with a property on The Meadow shortly before 12.30am
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said the incident involved a van, but there was no damage caused to either the house or the vehicle.
Jones was fined £769 and disqualified from driving for 26 months.
He was ordered to pay costs of £85 and a £308 surcharge.
