An Isle of Wight bungalow with picturesque sea views is set to go up at auction - but, the building is in need of 'significant structural repair'.

Clive Emson Auctioneers has Silver Retreat on Ash Grove, Luccombe, is listed to go under the hammer at its next online auction, which concludes on Wednesday, June 17.

The four-bedroom bungalow, guided at £150,000-plus, is on two and a half acres of land and boasts amazing sea views.

However, the 'substantial' property has suffered structural movement and damage.

Rob Marchant, Island auctioneer, said: "Silver Retreat is situated at Luccombe, a popular and sought-after residential district of the larger town of Shanklin which is a short drive away.

"Prospective purchasers may wish to consider site redevelopment, subject to all required consents being obtainable.

"In the meantime, Silver Retreat continues to provide a splendid home for the current owner occupier and has scope and potential to continue in this guise or perhaps for use as a weekend retreat or holiday home if required by the purchaser."

Online bidding is live 48 hours before the end of the auction.
