A regatta for classic yachts will return to Yarmouth in 2026 as the RSYC Contessa Regatta sets sail once more.
Hosted by the Royal Solent Yacht Club, the event will take place from June 26 to 28, honouring the 60th anniversary of the Contessa with three days of racing and celebrations.
The regatta is expected to attract a dramatic increase in the racing fleet in 2026, and discounted early bird entries are now open through the Royal Solent Yacht Club’s website.

Simon Rogers, managing director of Jeremy Rogers Limited, said: "We are so happy to be sponsoring another all Contessa regatta for the 60th Anniversary year and are hoping for a record turnout.
"As the new MD of Jeremy Rogers Limited, I personally am looking forward to meeting lots of new faces, and some familiar ones."
To mark the anniversary, lead sponsor Jeremy Rogers boatyard is launching a bespoke gin, appropriately named, Contessa Gin.
All entrants will receive a complimentary bottle, with early bird sign-ups before May 13 receiving their bottle personalised with the name of their boat.
Mr Rogers said: "I’ll be joined by my brother Kit on Assent and we are looking forward to a great event, both on and off the water."
The regatta will feature five races in the Western Solent and four racing divisions including the Contessa 32 (Inshore Points Series 2), Contessa 28 and Contessa 26 (National Championships), and larger Contessas (35, 38, 39, and 43) racing together under NHC.
Ashore, a full programme of entertainment is planned in partnership with lead sponsors Jeremy Rogers Limited and Maison Louis Jadot.
