A HISTORIC Victorian hotel valued at over £4 million is up for sale on the Isle of Wight after more than 65 years of family ownership.
The Northbank Hotel, on Circular Road in Seaview, is on the market through agents Fleurets.
The property operates as a well-established, family-run business, with a strong trading history.
The freehold interest, which also includes a detached cottage, has a guide price of £4,200,000.

The hotel, originally built circa 1850 as a private seaside residence, carries a rich history.
It was requisitioned by the War Department during the Second World War, used by the Women’s Royal Naval Service, and later converted into a hotel in the post-war years.
It has remained in the ownership of the Shaw-Yates family since 1959 and today operates on a seasonal basis from May to October, with scope to extend trading or reposition the business.
The hotel consists of a detached three-storey building complete with 16 guest bedrooms, a private lounge and bar, gardens, and a separate cottage.
