The Isle of Wight is gearing up for a variety of events this week, from horticultural shows to talks on beer.
On March 21, a free event will see children make their own carnival backpacks from 10am until 1pm, at Quay Arts in Newport. They will make backpacks using sustainable materials including willow, tissue, and fabric.
Also on March 21. the Freshwater Horticultural Society Spring Show will be held at Freshwater Parish Hall from 2pm until 4pm. People can enter flowers, vegetables, plants, floral art, cookery, handicrafts, art, and photography into the show on the morning of March 21. The event is open for all.
Christ Church, Totland Bay, will host the Tritone Singers' spring concert on March 21. Tickets costing £10 each are available for purchase online or at the door.
A 1970s-based show is set to hit the Island. Ahh... Freak Out! will be performed at the 1Leisure Medina Theatre on March 21, from 7.30pm.
The Bembridge Singers will perform their spring concert on March 25, from 7.30pm until 9pm, at Holy Trinity in Bembridge. Tickets are priced at £10, with free entry for under 18s.
Beer lovers are invited to Goddards Brewery Ltd for a series of free monthly talks. Beer and Stories will kick off on March 26, from 6pm to 8pm, with Bob Simpson, discussing 'The History of Brewing.'
On March 27, indulge in a burlesque and cabaret experience at 1Leisure Medina Theatre with Tease. Entry to this is for over 18s only.
Also on March 27, live music fans can enjoy a gig from Dirty Lil Secret in The Bugle Inn in Sandown.
