Artist registration is now open for the 2026 Isle of Wight Open Studios event.
Applications to join in can be made via their website and will be accepted until February 1.
The event is a celebration of the Island’s creative community, with an Island-wide programme of open studios, exhibitions, and events.
Open Studios will run from Friday, May 15 to Monday, May 25, inviting visitors to meet the artists and makers, step inside their studios, and experience the artistic richness of the Isle of Wight up close.

Any artist, irrespective of discipline, is encouraged to apply to take part in the event.
In 2025, more than 150 artists participated in the 11-day event, welcoming more than 9,500 visitors, with an impressive showcase exhibition at Quay Arts attracting an additional audience of about 4,000 visitors.
The Open Studios initiative connects people from all walks of life with Island artists, offering a unique opportunity to explore creative spaces and experience the Isle of Wight’s cultural richness.

Open Studios is also seeking advertisers and sponsors for 2026.
The Open Studios directory is a widely used resource by visitors and a major tool for discovering artists, studios, and creative businesses.
The planned total circulation is 8,000 copies.
Funds and support from sponsors and advertisers will aid Open Studios in executing a high-profile promotional campaign across the Island, reaching more visitors and strengthening the Isle of Wight’s cultural standing.
