A new exhibition inspired by the sea is coming to Cowes on the Isle of Wight.

Stuart Greenfield, a Cowes-based marine artist, will unveil his latest exhibition, 'Force of Nature,' at The Rotunda, Northwood House, from November 17 to 23.

The exhibition will be open daily between 9am and 5pm, and will feature a collection of oil and acrylic works inspired by the sea, weather and human endurance.

Stuart is familiar with this subject matter, having competed in more than 200 Royal Ocean Racing Club (RORC) offshore races, including 14 Fastnet races.

His art captures the raw energy, stillness and unpredictability of the ocean.

Stuart said: "The sea has always been my teacher. Every storm, every calm, every horizon tells a story.

"This collection is about nature’s power and the human spirit that meets it head-on."

Visitors will be able to explore original paintings and limited-edition prints, all available for purchase, and discuss commissions with the artist.

Stuart previously ran an international advertising agency for more than 30 years, directing creative campaigns for global brands, before taking up painting full-time.
