Junior crews from a rowing club clinched victory in multiple events with a clean sweep of medals.
The Wightlink-sponsored Ryde Rowing Club competed in the Itchen Imperial Rowing Club's Junior Regatta on September 28.
The competition unfolded over a 450-metre course on the River Itchen in Southampton.
Ryde's Open J16 River Four team, comprising Joe Bird, Charlie Watts, Cameron D’Arcy, and Max Locke, with Harry Watt coxing, emerged triumphant in both their heat and final.
The same crew, with Mai Read replacing Harry as coxswain, also won the Open J16 River Quad final.
In the Open J16 River Double Sculls, the Ryde team of Charlie and Cameron claimed first place in their final, while the J15 River Double Sculls team of Joe and Max finished second in their heat.
The youngest Ryde crew, Dexter Robson and Rosie Morris, competing in the J12/13 Double Sculls, finished second in their heat.
In the Open River J16 Single for Competitors, Ryde's Charlie won both his heat and final.
Ryde’s two J15 River Scullers, Max and Cameron, both won their heats, with Cameron winning the final and Max finishing second.
All Ryde competitors returned home with medals.
