The iconic Red Arrows are set to take flight above the Isle of Wight today (Friday) — for the second day in a row.

The Royal Air Force Aerobatic team are taking part in the Eastbourne International Airshow.

They are expected over the Island at around 4.15pm, reaching Nettlestone Point for 4.18pm.

Their route to the airshow, on each of the days, is likely to take them over Yarmouth, Shalfleet, Newport, Wootton, Havenstreet, Appley and Nettlestone.

Before heading back to Bournemouth for 5.18pm, their flight path will again take them past East Cowes and Cowes.

It is expected to be a similar story tomorrow (Saturday) with the Reds due over Nettlestone Point at 4.18pm.

The Red Arrows most recently flew over the Island for Cowes Week and were watched on by Her Royal Highness Princess Anne.

The County Press recently revealed the intention to have them perform a display at next year's event.

All flight paths and timings are subject to change.
