Two popular Isle of Wight attractions have brought back their summer firework displays, with The Needles kicking off tonight (Thursday, July 31).
The Needles Landmark Attraction is set to ignite the first of its ‘Magic in the Skies’ firework shows, promising a night of family entertainment.
The display will begin at around 9.30pm, weather permitting.
Organisers shared that a good-luck weather dance – paired with a sausage roll bribe to the weather gods – should hopefully keep the worst of the weather away.

It is hoped that Thunderstorms will not dampen the mood tonight, as all eyes turn to Alum Bay for the opening fireworks night of the season.
The Magic in the Skies event will continue every Thursday throughout August – on the 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th.
Meanwhile, Blackgang Chine’s Summer Fest is delivering Wednesday evening entertainment through to August 27.
The festivities run until 9.30pm and include live music, foam, confetti and a laser party, with the firework display taking place at the end of the night.
Blackgang’s lineup also features rides, including Extinction and a variety of attractions.
Entry to Summer Fest is included with a general admission ticket, which also offers seven days of free return visits.
Also, don't forget, the Waverley Park Holiday Centre in East Cowes will put on its firework display again this year for Cowes Week.
Cowes Week fireworks have long been a tradition for the town, but the last time the official display went ahead was 2019.
Julian Adams, owner of the holiday park, has been trying to keep the tradition alive.
The fireworks will take to the skies from the Waverley at 9.30pm on Friday, August 8.
Following the conclusion of Ventnor Carnival on the evening of Wednesday, August 13, a firework display will take place on the seafront.
