New figures have revealed the pass rate for driving tests on the Isle of Wight.
The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) has released its quarterly figures on driving test pass rates across the UK, showing where learners have the best and worst chances of passing.
On the Isle of Wight, 53.1 per cent of learners passed their test, above the national average of 48.5 per cent.

53.5 per cent of male and 52.7 per cent of female test takers passed on the Island, above the national average of 49.4 per cent (male) and 47.3 per cent (female).
524 tests were successful on the Island from April 2024, out of 980.
Pass rates are up from last year, where 50.3 per cent of test takers passed.
In Southampton (Maybush), 46.7 per cent of test takers passed, with 49.3 per cent of male and 43.4 per cent of female test takers emerging with a full license.
In Portsmouth, 50.9 per cent passed, with 50.4 per cent of male test takers and 51.6 per cent of female test takers passing.
