POLICE are seeking witnesses after a man died on the Isle of Wight.
Officers were called to Shore Road in Gurnard at 11.28pm last night (Saturday, November 30) after a Ford Mondeo was found in the water.

The slipway at the bottom of Shore Road, Gurnard. (Image: County Press) The sole occupant, a man in his 40s from Ryde, was pronounced dead at the scene.
It follows a major air-sea rescue search for a man, in the Cowes and Gurnard area, which began just before midnight last night.
Police, ambulance and coastguard services were at the scene, including a helicopter.
Police cordoned off the scene while the search was being carried out.
Police have informed the man's next of kin.
They are now investigating to "establish the exact circumstances surrounding the incident".
