The Yarmouth Festival of Sea Songs has raised £6,000 for The Needles Coastwatch (NCI) station.
The money was raised during the 2024 festival, held in May, and was recently presented at the station.
Chris Waddington, chair of the festival, expressed gratitude to all the NCI volunteers for their support in making the event successful.
These volunteers helped by staffing the car park, selling programmes, and collecting donations.
Mr Waddington also acknowledged the support from Yarmouth Harbour Commissioners, Wightlink, Island Ales, and other contributors.
He particularly thanked the performers who gave their time for free and the generous donations made at the festival.
The festival team, all volunteers, are seeking more helpers. Interested individuals can make contact via the festival's Facebook page.
Plans are already underway for the 2025 Yarmouth Sea Songs Festival, which will take place over the May Bank Holiday weekend, from Friday, May 23, to Sunday, May 26.
Station manager, Charlotte Raynor, said: "This fantastic contribution effectively covers about half of our annual running costs for the year, enabling our amazing team of volunteers to concentrate on staffing the station and providing ‘eyes on the sea’, helping to keep our local waters safe for all users."
