A MAN has suffered a serious — and potentially life-threatening — head injury at an Isle of Wight address.
Police were called by the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service to an address in St Michael’s Avenue, Ryde, at 6.29am this morning (Thursday, September 26).

A man aged in his 50s had sustained "a serious and potentially life-threatening" head injury, and has been taken to Southampton General Hospital, a spokesperson for the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary has said.
Police are conducting inquiries to establish the full circumstances around how the man came to be injured.
